Review: Say It with Success: Foolproof Ways to Improve Your Presentation

Say It with Success: Foolproof Ways to Improve Your Presentation
Say It with Success: Foolproof Ways to Improve Your Presentation by Shannon Alter

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

'Say It with Success: Foolproof Ways to Improve Your Presentation' by Shannon Alter is a compact but thorough guide on preparing and giving presentations. Much like an introductory speech class, this book provides easy-to-use steps for preparing a presentation and many tips and tricks for both the speaker and the audience to get the most out of every presentation.

This book includes information on tone, organization, battling stage fright (a must for someone like myself) and the most typical errors speakers can make whenever they need to give a presentation. It also includes a chapter on international presentations that would be helpful for speakers in a more global business. I really like how the book it broken up into smaller sections in each chapter to be able to find exactly what you are looking for. This is a handy guide that can be carried around and referenced every time you need to prepare to speak in front of a group, large or small.
