Candace Roach is not a saint, just a
woman who loves to cook, but with all that she has to put up with
from her husband Larry, she should be. If the weekend zombie movie
marathons and his insistence on putting cilantro on everything
weren't enough, now the poor woman has found something unusual in the
man's suitcase – a tiny black bra not made for Candace's voluptuous
frame.
Now Candace must find out what is
really going on with Larry. She hires her best friend Annie, fresh
out of PI school. With Annie's PI partner Salvatore, the heat is on
Larry. Not only are they out to get the truth from Larry and his
misadventures, but Candace is also out for revenge. Will she find out
the truth? Will she get revenge on the man who insisted she looked
“bovine” in her nightgown? Dive into this Annie Ogden adventure
to find out.
This is the type of book that you can't
put down. Even if you want to, you'll find yourself drawn back to it
in a matter of minutes. It's alright – you can clean the bathroom,
take out the trash and feed the kids later. With humor and fun
adventure, Zombie Candy is an excellent read. And to top it
off, the book ends with some of Candace's delicious recipes you can
sink your zombie teeth into. But remember – it's a cilantro-free
zone in there. And no cows either. Candace hates cows.

Haha, Terri, I love it! Nice sign-off. Yes, no cows to a man who thinks referring to her as bovine is acceptable. Man, Larry Roach deserved what he had coming to him. I was secretly cheering Candace on while I read and identified with her a tad more than I should probably admit.
Thanks for joining us on this tour, and when you have a moment, please kindly cross-post your review to Amazon and GoodReads :-D
