Review: Boo Hoo Blacky

Boo Hoo Blacky
Boo Hoo Blacky by Lucianne DeLong

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Boo Hoo Blacky by Lucianne DeLong is the first book in the series Saloman Sawdust's Snappy Stories. Boo Hoo Blcky seems to be the whiniest cat in the neighborhood. No matter what, he's never quite happy. Not only is he usually upset, but he also let's everyone know about it. By the end of the story, though, Boo Hoo Blacky finds himself at home, surrounded by his family who love him.

This book is a fun read for adults and children. The rhyme schemes makes it a great book to read out loud in a group. The illustrations are very cute and help to tell the story well. Overall, the book has a great message for children and adults alike.
