Review: Angels at the Table: A Shirley, Goodness, and Mercy Christmas Story

Angels at the Table: A Shirley, Goodness, and Mercy Christmas Story
Angels at the Table: A Shirley, Goodness, and Mercy Christmas Story by Debbie Macomber

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Angels at the Table: A Shirley, Goodness, and Mercy Christmas is a fun, romantic adventure starring some mischievous angels. The three angels now have an apprentice angel, Will, to show the ropes. Their mission as Prayer Ambassadors this time is to correct a situation they accidentally created. Lucie and Aren were both separated from friends and family during New Year's Eve celebrations. This quick meeting turned into more than they thought could ever happen bumping into strangers. However, circumstances beyond they control keeps them apart for nearly a year. A chance meeting again will let Lucie and Aren explore their feelings once more--if the angels can stay out of the way.

This is a sweet, simple book for anyone who is looking to get into the holiday season a little early will enjoy. The angels are a great addition to a traditional love story and work well to bring in a little comic relief when needed.
