Review: The Look of Love

Lovely.

Chloe never thought that word could mean so much. But when Chase says it to her, she knows the true meaning. However, Chase would have been the furthest thing from her mind had he not stopped on the road to pick her up after her car gave out on her. And it wasn't just Chloe—Chase knew that this chance meeting would lead to more—much more.

While Chloe is struggling with a failed marriage and an ex-husband that simply will not let her go, Chase is worried that he will never find “the one.” When these two meet, sparks fly higher and faster than they ever have before.

While on the surface this book may seem like a typical romance, it goes far beyond the classic bedroom scenes to explore the characters in the story—including some characters that have little to do with the budding romance itself. The characters growth in the story does seem quick, but it only makes the reader want to get to the end of the book faster to see just what will happen with these two in the future.

Putting a serious situation into a romance like this makes it more real while still giving the reader the romantic fantasy they are looking for. You can read it on the beach, on vacation or curled up in bed on the weekends—but you will want to read it.

Lovely.

After reading this book, I'll never think of that word the same way again.

Awww, great review. I love the non-conventional nickname Chase gave to Chloe too. Wouldn't you love if a guy called you that? Thanks for taking part in our gigantic tour, and if you have time to cross-post your reviews to Amazon and GoodReads, that would be awesome :-D
