All Luz wants is to see her young daughter again. but her husband Rolando, a notorious Tiajuan drug lord, keeps Luz frightened for her life on a daily basis. When she finally gets the courage to leave, she has to do things she never thought she would just to see her little girl again. When Jeronimo is hired by Rolando to find Luz, his own family is put into jeopardy until the woman is returned.
This book keeps your adrenaline pumping with the turn of every page. If you are fully invested in Luz's struggle, you will not want to put this book down. Though the story is a bit predictable, it can still be easily enjoyable and recommended for anyone who likes a fast-paced read.
