Review: Dear Rockstar
Dear Rockstar by Emme Rollins
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
Dear Rockstar by Emme Rollins is a fast-paced drama/romance that brings the ultimate Tyler Vincent fan to make a choice: keep on believing the fantasy, or start living in reality.
While it is normal for girls/teens to obsess over their favorite actor, musician, etc., when I realized that the girls was actually over 18, it seemed wrong for her to have not grown up--especially given what the other hidden secrets are about Sara in the book. The story was very vague about Sara's problems at home until the very end, so it wasn't as enjoyable to read as it could have been. The story pretty much breaks down into a sappy love story once Sara and Dale get together and heads straight into a predictable ending. It's not terrible, but it's not fantastic either.
