Review: Lost and Found
Lost and Found by Brooke Davis
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Lost & Found is a very interesting book. This book takes the reader on an adventure with young Millie, who is just discovering the idea of death and how it affects her life. To top it off, her mother asks her to stay put in the lingerie section of a department store and doesn't come back. The hunt to reunite with her mother is the basis of the book and her adventures with two old friends she meets along the way.
I really like this book, though a girl Millie's age being alone for so long without being noticed doesn't really seem realistic. Neither does the idea that she is almost caught so many times and she still doesn't end up in the hands of any type of authority. The only part I really didn't like was the end... it went from still being on a journey straight to so far in the future that you really didn't want to know. Other than that, it was a very interesting read.
*Received book free from Penguin First to Read
