Review: So This is Love

In the next installment of the Callaway Family series, it is younger sister Emma’s turn to fall in love. As foreshadowed in the first book, once Emma’s eyes are locked onto detective Max Harrison, all bets are off. He’s brash, closed off and doesn’t want to give into love, but can Emma’s heart melt his own?

Since the storyline about the arson fires in the first book wasn’t resolved in the first book of the series, the second book is dedicated mostly to solving the case while at the same time, bringing together two people who think that love will never come into their lives. So can a simple one night stand stay simple?

The book does a great job of combining romance and suspense, so even if you aren’t really excited about reading a romance novel, there are plenty of other tidbits to keep you reading on. I do like that the book also revisits Sara and Aiden’s story that you can continue following the characters you have already met. Right now, I can’t wait to get started on book three.
