Review: Paris Ever After

Paris Ever After Paris Ever After by K.S.R. Burns
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Amy's world is upside down. She's just lost her friend, she's on the skids with her husband, she's fled to Paris, and also finds herself pregnant--and that's just the first few pages of Amy's adventures in Paris while she tries to sort out what the next step in her life will be.

This is actually a sequel to the author's other book, The Paris Effect, which I did not read before diving into this title. However, I think that there is enough backstory to figure out what happened in the first book without it being intrusive to this story, though I'm usually a stickler for reading things in order.

As the title suggests, this is a book where you will get what you expect--Amy will find her place, though it is important to note that there are plenty of twists and turns that will make you want to stick with the story, even if you recognize that she's going to get her happily ever after from the first page.
