Review: Come A Little Bit Closer

Come A Little Bit Closer
Come A Little Bit Closer by Bella Andre

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Come A Little Bit Closer is the seventh book in the The Sullivans series and follows the romantic adventures of Smith Sullivan. Smith is by far the best known of the Sullivans because he is a top actor in Hollywood. However, he has not met the girl of his dreams--until he meets Valentina, the fiercely protective sister and manager of his new co-star.

Not only does Smith have to deal with his romantic feelings toward Valentina, he also is producing, directing and starring in a screenplay that he wrote, all about love. Throughout the book, both Smith and Valentina have to come to terms with the price of fame and how this can hinder a relationship.

Like the other books in the series, this one follows a Sullivan from his (or her) issues with falling in love all the way up to finding the right person for them. There are many steamy scenes, but the book doesn't sacrifice plot for it. With Smith's story, his own movie creation is incorporated into the tale which almost gives the reader two stories in one. The book also has an overall theme of gravity and how that word can be applied to love and life, which is a different element not included in previous books.

Overall, it is another great story from the author and I am still interested to read more.
