The Amazing Adventures of Chilly Billy by Pete Mayle is a fun children's book that not only explains the mystery of the light in the refrigerator, but also gives much more insight into the life of Chilly Billy when he's not busy turning on the light, tidying up messes and making sure those ice cubes shine. In this book, readers get to learn about the Great Annual Fridge Olympics and Frozen Sports, Billy's love interest Lily, and the time he met Stripy Norman, a lost caterpillar in the lettuce. Overall, it is a fun and entertaining read for children and adults alike.
