Review: Sorrow Bound
Sorrow Bound by David Mark
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
Sorrow Bound is a tale of suspense that keeps you guessing until the end. Detective Sergeant Aector McAvoy's job is to check out and contain the vile new boss of the local drug trade, though they also get pulled into a series of murders that put fear into the lives of those who are connected to an old series of brutal attacks.
Overall, this was an interesting read, but the biggest issue I had while reading was being able to tell the two female agents apart. Although they were distinct, reading their names didn't immediately tell me which one that chapter was following. Another issue with the story is that once you find out who the culprit is, the back story to explain the reasoning seemed rushed and not as believable as if the real murderer had been another character in the story.
